Frenchies is a relatively new cafe in the Central District, that is run by French, providing authentic French bakeries. Majority of the customers are also the expats, like my friend who I had breakfast with.

The facade of the cafe is in classic navy blue, easy to spot in the street. Inside it is cozy, with a few seats only, so it is usually quite full.

Croissants are sold at a fair price of HK$20, which is a bit cheaper than the other well-known bakeries. The croissant has a fair buttery flavour and aroma, quite flaky outside and soft inside.

Orange juice ($45) for a healthy breakfast - fresh juice (could tell from its colour) in a big jar.

The location is quite near to the commercial office areas (just 10 mins from my building), very convenient for a breakfast or coffee break.
