The Fish Bar has been a favourite for me, whenever I visit this place I always had an impression of being in a resort. The dining area is filled with wooden furniture and the dining area faces the swimming pool. The food they serve is primarily seafood, the menu selections are not as much as other restaurants probably due to the limited space within the kitchen for the Fish Bar. The menu haven’t change much for years, apart from the main menu; they also have a menu of daily fresh fish available to order.
I usually order the mussels in cream sauce, crab cakes, fish & chips and also their seafood pasta. The mussels are very big and tender while the crab cakes are filled with crab meat. More meat than the flour that was used for making the crab cakes. Their fish and chips are also very impressive, with a thin batter on the outside; the fish is very tender and flaky even after deep fried.
The Caesar Salad has a light dressing with the lettuce very crisp!
Oysters are very juicy and fresh.
Mussels was soaked in a cream sauce, and the mussels were big with meat being very tender. Served with crispy fries.
Seafood pasta, came with large chunks of shrimp and scallop. The seafood are fresh with 3 large mussels included.
The peanut butter brownie was not as good as I imagined, since the brownie was more in the hard size than the usual soft and moist texture.
The food is not outstanding but the quality level is always very consistent. Never had a bad meal here but the atmosphere makes up for any negative points for this restaurant.
