We didn’t take these seats, but the bar table where we could watch people on the street (and vice versa).

The lunch menu was quite big indeed! We only had this one meal for the day!

This homemade Watermelon Flavoured Water was so refreshing! It’s made with fresh watermelon instead of syrup, and the soda water did make us crave for our meal. It was also light enough to refresh our taste buds throughout the meal.

To start with, we had this Beef Salpicon Tostada as one of the two starters. With pulled flank steak, pickled red onion and pico de gallo on top of a crispy cracker, it made a great starter. We love the pulled beef with the seasoned vegetables so much!

And of course, we went for guacamole as a second starter. What’s special about this guacamole was the black charred onion powder on top. It added flavored to the guacamole! New cooking skill learnt! We were guessing how many avocado were there in the bowl… The portion was huge!! The colourful tortilla chips were amazing too! Love the red ones!

Main was these Taco Trio of Carnitas, Baja Fish and Beef Tongue. The carnitas was shredded pork with amazing seasonings. Everything was so great! We particularly love the beef tongue which was so flavored. Words simply can’t describe how delicious they were!

This Hummus was an interesting main. The hummus was like ordinary hummus made with chickpeas. but the coconut curry and sauteed cous-cous were definitely new to us! The cous-cous wasn’t like ordinary ones I use to have, it was more chewy. Nonetheless, it went so well with the creamy coconut curry which was white in the middle. Love the beans too! They were sweet like honey.

Dessert was wonderful Churros with cinnamon and cajeta sauce. It was so delicious! Probably the best in town! They were freshly fried, so they were crunchy when served, and the sugar on top mixed well with the cinnamon and cajeta sauce. Yummy, sweet yet not overly stuffy.

Coffee was a nice surprise. I don’t normally expect much for house coffee, but this latte was definitely up to coffee shop standard, it was fruity with foamy milk.

We would definitely love to visit this lovely Mexican bar and restaurant again, and the bar table facing the street was so chill!!
