It's the time of the year and restaurant week is on! We came in having high hopes as club chow earned roaring reviews from our friends.

The staff were very friendly (and they speak Cantonese! a plus
)

however, as we came in the decor was a bit dated and the reception area was a bit messy
might be disappointing if you're looking for a proper fine dining experience(!)

the menu was pretty generous and came with 2 glasses of house wine(red or white ) . To an amateur like myself the white wine was quite pleasant
. However I was so amateur that I didn't ask what the wine was 😂

The food:

Foie Gras: nice robust flavor, messy presentation

Striploin: Nice sear and perfect cook, albeit over seasoned

Salad: average Caesar salad. very Fresh

Apple Cobbler: too acidic for my taste, quite tasty according to my friends.

Tiramisu was so nice I stole half from my friends: nicely soaked lady fingers with fluffy and airy cheese
very light and was worth calorie gained

In general:
Portion was quite Generous
Generally good, robust flavors
presentation was lacking
Decor was lacking too
worth a go for average gathering or work lunches.
Might not be the place for fancy dates ;)
