Ship Street in Wan Chai is filled with amazing restaurants, and Mr Brown is definitely one of them. The restaurant radiates a good ambiance. To start with, we were presented with 5 superb starters. The first one was this Whipped Mackerel with ikura, celery and pretzel bread. The pretzel bread was warm and fluffy, very delicious. What’s best was the whipped mackerel! It was so creamy, fantastic spread for the bread! The ikura (salmon roe) definitely topped up the taste of the whipped mackerel and the bread.

We adored this Raw Hamachi so much! It was so fresh and meaty, yet not fishy at all. The avocado, leek ash and fennel made fantastic seasonings.

Last but not least, Empanada with monterey jack and jalapeno. The rich cheese stuffing definitely got my heart, and the homemade chili sauce went so well with the empanada surprisingly! Oh my god, so so good!

When we thought things can’t get even better, this dessert gave us a nice surprise to end the meal. The Burnt Cheese Cake was super enjoyable! Strong cheese flavor, yet very moist and fluffy. The Persian lime and cherry sorbet was very refreshing! We wish there were more as the two of us had to share this plate of goodies.
