We had the Tasting menu, but somehow it was different from the online menu. In the end, we decided on the 4-course tasting menu: 2 appertizers, main and dessert + a bottle of wine. We didn't get our first choice of wine...ended up with a Chilean chardonnay. Salmon in Six Ways was a visual and tasting delight. We love the seared and cold-smoked salmons the best. Salmon in Six Ways was a visual and tasting delight. We love the seared and cold-smoked salmons the best. The quality of the salmon was superb. Melt in the mouth. He chose the shrimp and fish cake, very strong flavored, crispy on the outside and you can see chunks of shrimp and fish. I chose the Arctic Charr Inkokt...I didn't get this dish. It was more like eating herring. I didn't like the bland seasoning. The house-smoked salmon was wonderful. The fish was definitely melting in my mouth, so tender and not too strongly flavored. The stewed morel mushrooms was just mind-blowing, perfectly seasoned and didn't overwhelm the taste of fish. The potatos were lovely as well. My question: where do they find fresh dill in Hong Kong? The grilled spring lamb was absolutely a must-try item. The lamb was tender and gamey. The potato puree was well-done, but could have been smoother. The only thing was the foamy light malt sauce...didn't get that... The terrine was good, but the best part was the mint ice-cream. The lingonberry white chocolate mousse cake with the tiniest meringues, there were too many flavour going at the same time: white chocolate, rhubarb, beetroot...not bad, but not the most memorable finale to a meal.
Other Info. :
The restaurant is very spacious, so you don't have to listen to other people's conversation during dinner. The waitresses do not seem to be very familiar with the menu.
