I have been eyeing this place for a while now. Finally had my first cuts-and-cups experience with Duet yesterday. Adam, the founder of the place, was my stylist of the day. He was clearly very busy garding the salon end of the shop all by himself during the lunch hours. But he's very attentive and carries a calming controlled air with him. But he's very attentive and carries a calming controlled air with him. He offered me a drink on the house and made sure I was settle down before getting back to the customer before me. I love love love the hair cut and really enjoyed learning the story behind Adam and Duet. And the head massage was so good that I almost fell asleep.
I enjoyed the latte so decided to try the food here as well. The shredded pork panini in BBQ source and homemade onion pickle is hearty and simply delicious. I didn't think I could finish the whole panini, but was pleasantly surprised how light and mouth watering it was. Before I knew it, it was done. 😅
Highly recommend this place! It has certainly uplifted the social scene in the neighbourhood. I would be glad to go back with a friend or two for a cuts-and-cups experience again any day.
