雖然在下並非人家說的甜魔,但對於有水準的甜品,卻又不會錯過,難得跟兩位元祖級甜人齊齊來個afternoon tea,想來又真的是第一次。The Royal Garden內的Sabatini,一向是城中有數的意大利餐廳,高貴典雅的擺設,令人彷彿置身於另一個時空,現場更有歌手駐唱,別具風情,看得出今次推出Sabatini Roman Afternoon Tea Set,當然不能有失,就連壓軸甜品都是即刨白松露雪糕,夠驚喜了吧?想不到餐前可以先來一杯城中熱話的Prosecco用作welcome drink,細緻綿密的氣泡,畢挺的徐徐上升,淡雅的黃色,散發出迷人的光彩,真是未見甜品,已經令人有所期待。放上來的是英式三層架,以純白色的店家專用瓷碟擺放,襯托起色彩繽紛的甜品,更能突出主體,誘人的程度爆燈。最上層以咸點為主,首選了兩者同樣用小脆筒擺放的阿拉斯加皇帝蟹肉配希靈魚子醬及鴨肝慕絲配果醬及開心果,賣相相近,但口味各異;前者有著海鮮的鮮味,而後者在甜美中夾雜有鴨肝很豐潤的口感。再來是賣相很平凡的Cinta Senese風乾火腿蜜瓜,很細心地把蜜瓜球圍起,咸香與清甜,從來都是這個菜色誘人之處。另

另外的水煮蛋配黑松露散發淡淡的幽香與及Arancini炸飯糰的酥脆,令整個上層在烹調的方法上的展現,充滿了不同的味覺享受。

中層由純咸點漸漸滲入了甜品的元素,先試試mozzarella n tomato open toast,芝士切得小巧,與車厘茄片夾雜,令奶香與微酸在舌尖游走,不錯。

炸蝦也許是較弱的一環,不過不失,但談不上驚喜。

回歸老本行,甜品向來是店方強項,先用Lemon Tart來清清味蕾,外層鬆脆,吉士醬幼滑,酸度恰到好處,果然有水準。

拿破崙更加不用說,每層都保持酥脆的口感,令人口味。

底層更加是甜品的天下,Tiramisu質感細滑如絲,酒味輕盈; Ispahan以Macaron夾住了raspberry,咬一口,滿有玫瑰花香,而外層依然酥脆,此刻,就算並非甜人,都會打從心裡欣賞。

Panna Cotta上面放了草莓,很平穩的處理手法,吃起來柔軟香滑。

St. Honore放到最後是常識吧!可以令高潮位慢慢提升,如果一早吃過,其他甜品可能已給比下去,由酥皮底而上是忌廉層、朱古力及焦糖泡芙,雖然是很小的一件,但層次分明,的確是高水準!

最後,就是由餐廳總廚 Andrea Oreste Delzanno即場泡製的白松露雪糕,來自天然的香味毫不簡單,如果客人單點這個雪糕,是要近$200杯,而今次竟然包含在afternoon tea內,真是值回票價了。

整個tea set 是$588(兩位),$294(一位)供應期由今年8月9日起,逢星期六、日及公眾假期由下午3時15分至5時30分,的確是一個令人樂而忘返的好地方。
