I came here excited to try a new Japanese restaurant. Our reservation was for 7:00pm and we were promptly seated by some very friendly staff. Immediately, I was given the drinks menu and fresh hot bread was served at our table. Shortly after, our waiter introduced himself, and introduced the menu to us. The house wines were also brought to our table on a trolley, and we could sample them all before choosing which one we particularly enjoyed. The service and food here are exceptional, and I would
The bread was nice and hot, and I particularly enjoyed the tomato marinere sauce that accompanied the bread.
A good assortment of fresh sashimi that was presented very well.
It was good, but it was not superb. Quite ordinary, something you would expect at a restaurant of lower quality.
I have never had this before. It tasted exquisite and I found the texture very pleasing. It melts in your mouth and taste devine.
I have also never had such big fat oysters before. These are an absolute must try French oyster if you are an oyster addict.
The lobster meat was really fresh and full of flavour, but the soup was way too salty for my taste.
The combination of the king crab and bell peppers was perfect. The herb garlic sauce was just right and complimented the entire dish magnificently. This was my favourite dish of the evening.
Despite the picture making the risotto look over saucy, it was a very lovely dish. The sauce is full of flavour, but not over-seasoned.
I also had a lobster bisque which was very rich and creamy, but it was not hot enough. The minced lobster meat that came with the soup was of the highest calibre. For dessert, we had green tea ice cream which was very delectable, and it came with a chocolate brownie crumble.
Overall, another stellar restaurant. I must give special mention to the phenomenal service of the staff at this fine sushi establishment. I highly recommend pay this place a visit in the near future.
