Food is decent (but nothing spectacular) but the service quality puts its star to shame and the Kaiseki food category in general. I was rushed to finish 2-3 courses as the waitress / chef just put the next dish right in front of me, while I’m still working on the previous dish. Seriously, even other less “famous” eateries in HK do much better than this.In addition, I was celebrating my birthday so asked that some sort of congratulatory plate to be arranged for the dessert. Didn’t happen. Come on

I was rushed to finish 2-3 courses as the waitress / chef just put the next dish right in front of me, while I’m still working on the previous dish. Seriously, even other less “famous” eateries in HK do much better than this.

In addition, I was celebrating my birthday so asked that some sort of congratulatory plate to be arranged for the dessert. Didn’t happen. Come on, do better for a 8-seat kaiseki restaurant.

In general I feel like the Kaiseki experience in HK just doesn’t measure up to what you get in Kyoto / Tokyo by a fat margin.....
