After starting off with some bread and butter, we each got a dish of organic green salad with crunchy walnuts, then shared two huge plates of their signature entrecôte (USDA Prime ribeye) that came with a creamy house sauce. The unlimited flow of thin crispy French fries does make up for the (increasing) price tag, but don’t go overboard stuffing yourself or else you won’t have enough space for dessert…
As part of the @blacksheeprestaurants, their dessert trolley is a must-have for special occasions and the ultimate way to end any meal. We finally settled on an indulgent lemon meringue pie over other options like mille feuille cake, raspberry macaron and creme brulee. Apologies for the poor photo quality, but just look at that enormous layer of sweet meringue that contrasted perfectly with the tart lemon pie base.
