I've heard of this place for awhile but never knew its exact location...till yesteryday night I randomly walked by it and decided to pop in to see what baked goods would catch my eye.Many of the cupcakes caught my attention, but I was quite stuffed from dinner earlier, so I decided to opt for a small piece of brownie that looked chocolatey good.The cost was very reasonable, however I was disappointed as it was more like a chocolate cake, and not so much a brownie. Many of the cupcakes caught my attention, but I was quite stuffed from dinner earlier, so I decided to opt for a small piece of brownie that looked chocolatey good.
The cost was very reasonable, however I was disappointed as it was more like a chocolate cake, and not so much a brownie. It had a very fluffy, light moist cake texture, and was light in flavour. It makes a good piece of chocolate cake, but it is most definitely not a brownie. As a piece of cake though, it is missing a sweet element to pair with it...could use some improvement.
This perhaps hints that the place specializes in cakes; brownies not so much. That being said though, I'll definitely return and try a cupcake/cake next time!
