Eat My Cakes (Closed)

因為同事生日，所以去左西邊街的Eat My Cakes 買生日蛋糕。哩間舖有d澳洲擺設，入去幫襯嘅都係熟客仔，枱面放著SCMP ，客人一入嚟就順手拎份報紙睇。用很短的時間選好一份New York Cheese Cake 加一杯LATTE 便回公司。回到公司後 在餅店提供的木匙上寫上Happy Birthday 同事話這濃滑芝士蛋糕加上清新嘅檸檬味，yummy但Latte 並不特別 ，只是一杯提神嘅咖啡吧。上網先知佢真係主打澳洲嘢，下次再經過會試試佢的pie。

This quaint coffee shop is a gem. Their coffee tastes fantastic and their cakes and tarts are of great quality, good size and not overly sweet. The base is crunchy which is really important to me. Nothing worse than a soggy base! They do pies and pastries too but I have not tried. My favorite is their dark chocolate tart $48 followed closely by their lemon tart for the same price. This is a great hidden secret! Fantastic homestyle bakery cooked in their open kitchen. Also serve the best coffee in Hong Kong. My favourites my morning Pain Au Chocoalte  or afternoon slice of New York Cheesecake.

難得愛中式食物的爸爸買了西式的蛋糕和批回來，我當然要認真嚐嚐啦。Cheese cake 好細滑，帶有清新的檸檬味，芝味濃郁。爸爸還買了蛋批和咖哩雞批，味道不錯，批皮不會過厚，裡面的餡料超豐盛，店主絕不吝嗇。

放半晝，想在西營盤吃點light lunch。經過此店，見到玻璃櫃內的 pie 大件又有想吃的餡選擇，便入內坐下，點了只賣剩一件的 corn, mushroom and feta cheese pie ($36)。老闆娘幫我烘熱了端上，又指指櫃面的水杯請我可自助飲用。 批皮做得很漂亮，沒有想像中的重牛油香味。餡料甚多，沒有重口味的醬汁在內，滿滿是新鮮即日製作烘烤的。整體味道不錯，不過跟平時吃慣的批比較就稍為淡味一點，感覺更健康，最適合本人的口味！ 還有steak & onion pie ($42) 及 vegetable & chicken pie ($36)。店子的名物 - cupcake - 還是下一次甜癮起時再試吧。

食完銀咖哩，由西邊街行番落去，沿途經過一間餅店，於是入去看看。店舖門面裝飾比較舊式，估唔到入面係賣 Cupcakes，cheesecake 等西式蛋糕。店內自設廚房焗製蛋糕，只見店主一人在店內忙碌中。店內也有堂食嘅位置，不過得一個座位。最後我揀咗件 New York Cheesecake，店舖提供小盒放蛋糕。New York Cheesecake 好厚，不過食落很軟綿，芝士味香濃，比平時食嘅 New York Cheesecake 香軟，而且食完一整件都唔覺膩，真不錯。再自己加粒士多啤梨， 仲正！

西邊街的一間簡簡單單的cupcake 店, 好像有點格格不入. 因為附的店鋪都比較舊式. 睇過雜誌介紹呢到又平又出色. 見今日經過就買過試下! 門外櫥窗有切餅賣. 芝士蛋糕果D . 店內就有cupcake 同cookies 賣. cupcake 款色大約有6-8款 : 今次我買左朱古力cupcake . 盛為24元! 其實我覺得只不過係朱古力孖寶蛋糕上面加上朱古力忌廉和朱古力針 很普通. 不過, 朱古力味真的很濃旭. 但真係唔值呢個價. 包裝: 係用一個平時買外賣粉面的膠飯盒來裝住個cake . 係幾有特色. 但不便攜帶, 和不夠體面呢

我有一位朋友好鍾意食 yogurt, 講真我麻麻地.....不過陪佢食無所謂啦.....由於費事淨係睇住佢食所以我諗住叫個 cupcake 試下; 我個人喜歡 chocolate 就叫了 Oreo Cupcake......我最鍾意面頭個 pat cream 有好多的 chocolate cookie 碎, 個旦榚底就有幾 rich 既 chocolate 味，我本身好怕甜但呢件野我幾鍾意，於是我問個 staff 係咪佢地自己 homemade, 個 staff 話D cupcake 係來自１間叫 Eat My Cakes 既公司....睇黎依家都幾興寄賣.....但可惜款色較少.....等我下次試下第二隻先.....

I went to Smooch, the great little yoghurt place under the escalator on Hollywood Road to have a yoghurt and at the same time we purchased 2 cupcakes - wow, they were amazing - Oreo cupcakes (they had lots more that looked yummy also), so delicious. I asked about ordering and the girl at Smooch told be they were from Eat My Cakes so I will certainly be eating more of these cupcakes - amaaaaaazing!
