My cousins and sister had some business to take care of in Sheng Wan, so I joined them for brunch after they were done. Environment, Service & Hygiene:We were seated by the door at first, but because it was so cold and wet that we asked if we could be seated elsewhere. Without a problem, the person in charge reseated us to the second floor, which was very warm, but noisy compared to the tranquility we had downstairs. It was so loud that we could barely hear each other talk. However, I appreciated how the person in charge handled our request. Hygiene was good from what I could see. Our food came quickly and the staff kept pouring us water and eagerly collected our finished drinks. Ha~
Taste & Value:I struggled to find something that I wanted to eat on the menu.
Then, I ended up choosing the Smoked Salmon with Scrambled Eggs ($125). For the price of the dish, I had expected a little more. The eggs were overseasoned, and way too mushy. As for the salmon, the quantity was good, but it was quite salty too. I could not feel that any effort was put into this dish.
Cousin T got the All Day Breakfast. I didn't try anything off of her dish, but she said everything was okay.
My sister and cousin J both got the Eggs Benedict ($118). Since my dish couldn't fill me, my sister gave me some of her benedict. The Hollandaise sauce was very rich and buttery. Seriously, VERY BUTTERY! Maybe that's why it was good. HAHA~
Final Verdict:Overpriced for average food. Won't be back.
