To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

Some very nice dishes but others are so so

I was on a special diet per doctor's order when we first checked in and the staff were kind enough to make sure all my requirements were met. I am very very grateful that they took the effort to make sure I was well looked after and passed on my requests to their colleagues before they go off duty. Some of the dishes are really really nice, eg the steamed chicken in a bamboo basket, the steamed pork patty, sweet n sour pork etc. But there are other dishes that I feel perhaps not my cup of tea. T

 Some of the dishes are really really nice, eg the steamed chicken in a bamboo basket, the steamed pork patty, sweet n sour pork etc. But there are other dishes that I feel perhaps not my cup of tea. They are expensive dishes but you will expect that eating in a hotel restaurants.

The dim sums are not as tasty as other restaurants - but they are definitely far less oily - so there is a trade off. I would definitely go back should I stay in this hotel again.
