Decided to try this joint as it was recommended by some Taiwanese friends.When I got there it was a slight culture shock as the staff there spoke Taiwanese.Started with the beef noodles which were my favourite because it was generously topped with my favourite pickled vegetables and the broth was strong.The vegetables were tender drizzled with sauce imported from Taiwan topped with mince and garlic puree.They also had Taiwanese drinks so tried the Apple Sidra which is a bit like fizzy apple juic

The tofu tasted like springy fishballs and beneath it was delicious Chinese cabbage cooked with dried shrimps.

The Taiwanese sausages were interesting because this is not something that I always come across.
The texture is the slighter softer than a Chinese preserved sausage but harder than a British pork sausage while the taste is quite sweet.
