Was searching for a lunch place nearby and the heartwarming name of the cafe caught my eye. Climb up a bit along Hill Road and you will see a number of small coffee shops.The simple designed interior with grey tones of Dear Neighbor gives a relaxing environment to enjoy a light lunch and special coffee. Recommend to go upstairs which is extremely spacious with only 2 tables and a few tatami seats. Choices of food for lunch is limited - basically either all day breakfast or daily pasta. We go for

Choices of food for lunch is limited - basically either all day breakfast or daily pasta. We go for all day breakfast as recommended by the chef with freshly homemade croissant.
The flaky croissant is lighter than usual and extremely crispy. I like it. Sausages are surprisingly tasty. The portion is just right for light lunch with a balanced combination. Don’t expect that to fill you up.
For coffee, apart from the standard ones, special coffees are available. Check with the staff who is passionate to introduce them one by one.
Here comes the Vienna coffee ☕️ Sit back and take some time to enjoy the creamy and rich layered bittersweet coffee.
