Also, the waiters are very well mannered and service is impeccable. You will never be ignored. If they cannot honor your request right away, they'll let you know instead of just keeping you waiting. Everyone there speaks English, too.

Finally, their stellar service extends into the kitchen, too. Almost all Cantonese dim sum places use lard to cook with. I have a special dietary restriction. I cannot eat lard nor any other pig product. I let their chef know this and, whenever possible, they'll cook their dim sum dishes without using lard, at my request.

You also get a romantic view of Hong Kong harbor while you dine. Watching sailboats drift by as you dine.... That's unbeatable as no other Hong Kong dim sum place I can think of can be described as being romantic.

For the usual Cantonese dim sum fare but served with impeccable customer service, dine at the Bauhinia Chinese Restaurant at the Pacific Club!
