This place serves one of the best tonkatsu in Hong Kong Island! It's a small nifty place, and they take their pork seriously.Its a tonkatsu - panko-crumbed deep fried pork cutlet (with a choice of ribeye, sirloin or tenderloin cuts), served with pickled veggies, bowl of japanese rice, cabbage salad and served with a scoop of potato salad. Otherwise if you're not a fan of just white rice - they also make a tonkatsu curry as well as the classic tonkatsu sando. But in all fairness - the dish to eat here is the tonkatsu rice sets.
While it looks like it has a basic/standard offering across its menu.... their dishes and service are near perfection.
1 - they seem to either make their own sesame sauce, because I can never find this sauce elsewhere, it has a very nice roasted sesame taste.
2 - they tend to put shredded parsley among their cabbage salad, making it a very refreshing treat (this is also unlimited! Don't be shy and ask for more!)
3 - during summer, they'll serve you cold oolong tea, and hot oolong tea during cooler months. This is also complimentary!
