Have finally paid Sugidama a visit on a weekend lunch. I was surprised they still served lunch sets in the weekends, and that there would be sets available for less than $100!!I was greedy and got the 14 sushi set. The sashimi definitely tasted fresh, and the rice itself already had some soy sauce to it, having enough flavours already. I was so full when I got to the 10th piece already…. But of course I can’t say no to sushi! We also ordered the set with tempura, it came with 8 pieces of sushi.

We also ordered the set with tempura, it came with 8 pieces of sushi. I was also surprised that the tempura assortment had fish, octopus, sweet potato and eggplant. The tempura was not too oily, so I didn’t feel too guilty after having it. This set was super value for money, given it was for $88 only!!
Always thought this place would be a bit overpriced, but I’m glad it’s not and I would return.
