Came to this cafe with a fd on 10 Feb. It was 9pm at night and the place looked more like a bar than a cafe. Lots of ppl smoking as it's a smoking-ok cafe.My friend ordered an amaretto latte, whereas I didn't feel like drinking coffee at this time of the day so I ordered a new york cheesecake. The coffee wasn't cheap to beging with - $52, and the cheesecake costed sth like $25.My friend, having read an article from the HK-magazine saying coffee here is good, had quite high expection on her amare

My friend, having read an article from the HK-magazine saying coffee here is good, had quite high expection on her amaretto latte. But it turned out to be... a disaster.. It's basically a cup of bitter alcoholic drink with milk in it, with no taste of coffee at all. And my new york cheesecake was bad as well. it was very dry and hard and tasted... utterlly awful.
overall the cafe visit was very disappointing. Don't think I will ever visit First Cup again.
