We went there in group of 4 and ordered 4 set lunch. Actually, two of us wanted to try the tasting menu which costs much more. Yet, while the restaurant requires a minimum order of two for the tasting menu, which is fair, they also demanded all people in the same table to order the same tasting menu and nothing else. Hence, they lost the higher revenue, due to this silly requirement. Our group has thought about splitting table as an alternative. When they serve, they served the ordered appetizer
When they serve, they served the ordered appetizers one by one, to be more exact, they didn’t serve them at the same time, but when they finished cooking the dish, so the second appetizer (scallops) only arrived after the first (broccoli) had been consumed, and then the third one (buratta ) after the second one had been consumed, and the last one was served after the third had been eaten. Mind you that we were not sharing.
So, we asked the waitress to serve the mains at the same time. Her response was positive but treated the request for serving all food at the same time a special request.
Moreover, the waiter failed to remind that the plates was hot. There was no bread served while we were waiting for the appetizers which took a long time to cook. Imagine close to 30 mins was required for the buratta cheese with cut beet root and plums!
To conclude, the food is fine with beautiful setting, but there is much room for improvement regarding their services.
