With a sudden craving for a vegetarian dinner, my friend recommended us to check out PizzaExpress' vegetarian menu.  I was rather disappointed with this dish, because it was plain and tasteless and the amounts of avocados and tomatoes were minuscule. There were also some rough, hard bits of quinoa that were perhaps uncooked. The avocados were okay but this dish was downright terrible. Of course, the bread sticks were nice and soft, but couldn't save the rest of the dish.

 This pesto spaghetti looks deceiving, as its flavours are extremely rich and the herby pesto sauce coats the spaghetti extremely well. The tomatoes with nuts were excellent and gave a crunchy texture to the al dente spaghetti. My only complaint is that the pesto is rather oily, and you do feel thirsty afterwards seeing all that oil remaining in the bowl afterwards.

 Here comes the star of the night, the main meal. It was my first time seeing a half-cooked egg in the middle of a pizza, but it was surprisingly delicious. Even though it was a vegetarian pizza, it felt as filling and rich as any other meat-lover's pizza. The vegetables went well with the tomato sauce base, while the crust was crunchy and not too thick. My only complaint is that there were copious amounts of salt (yes, salt) sprinkled on top of the egg, which made some slices way too salty. All-in-all, I would definitely recommend trying this pizza.
