We went for lunch and had their Hainanese chicken rice which costs $88. It was atrocious and shouldn't even been called Hainanese chicken rice. The chicken was ice cold, tough and chewy and it's presentation on the plate looked like a pile of puke. The chili and the soy sauces that accompanied it were fine. But the ginger sauce was loaded with salt -- which is Cantonese style but not Singaporean. It was also accompanied with these wired pickles normally served with congee. Overall this was a fail on all levels. We also ordered a side dish of sweet and sour pork - which was overly sweet and had no sour taste to it at all.
I've had the laksa here before and it's passable. Less offensive than the abomination of chicken rice.
But I don't think I'll ever come back. This place is a straight thumbs down.
