Whenever I'm in Yuen Long, boyfriend and I must go to 百味香串燒專門店. It may look like your normal stall that sells grilled meat items for take away. But it literally is the best skewer I've ever had!The first time I came here six years ago, it was run by a couple of senior citizens. But this time we came, the elderly man could not be seen. Instead there was still the elderly lady but a much younger man was grilling away. They also added deep fried items.
Menu is in Chinese only but all the food is on display. You can just point to it and tell them if you want it spicy or not. A skewer costs $11 a stick.
We ordered the chicken meat (our favorite) and threw in grilled pork neck. Grilled perfectly! The meat was moist and super juicy! The marinade they use is good balance of savory and sweet. Burnt bits were snipped away. Still one of the best I've ever had.
