We visited Raw Bar no.8 quite late on a Tuesday evening, the restaurant was about to close but Chris the boss let us in anyway. They cant serve any hot food but it was ok because we only wanted to get a dozen of oysters.

The restaurant only had one other table, so Chris decided to come have a chat with us after he shucked the oysters for us. He started teaching us about all things oysters, from the origins, to flavors and sizing, to the way you should enjoy an oyster. He even invited us to the bar area and demonstrated the process to us, and showed us his neat tricks. We were very impressed by how meticulous he was with the way he handled the oysters, and appreciated that he took the time to educate us.

I have recommended so many other friends to this place and will continue to do so. Thanks Chris for the lovely experience.
