This restaurant is owned by the Leonidas chocolate shop owner who gives the profits to the charity for Deaf Children. That is one good reason to eat at the restaurant, the other good reason is those amazing hot chocolates they serve, I didn't try one when we came to lunch a few months back and so was determined to return for dinner. The dinner menu is in sets and you can choose from a list of starters, main courses and desserts. The amuse bouche was some minced chicken on a spoon. I didn't like it as I thought it was quite tasteless but everyone else said it was quite nice
There were 6 of us and so we tried a few different dishes from each course:
The scallops were chosen by Dad and my husband, both gave it high marks
My Tarte Tartin with ice cream. I was hoping for a crisp tart with paper thin apple on top. This was a slightly thicker pastry with slices of cut apples. Still nice enough although I have had better
