To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

Tried their homemade siumai at the Sai Kung shop many times before and it was fascinating. Needed a siumai fix and stumbled across the Shek Kip Mei branch. The siumai was either overcooked or had been mixed with too much flour which was too soft and not chewy. Seasoning was on point and still matched well with their chili oil. However the fish paste with lettuce was a total bummer. Lots of fish paste inside but it was so fishy and mushy. Even swimming the fish paste in the chili sauce wouldn't b
