If you are looking for a place in Wanchai for home style, traditional Chinese food, this is your place.  You must be warned though, that the lady who takes reservations is quite a character -- especially if you are trying to book on the weekends or public holidays.   The restaurant can get quite busy with two dinner seatings on the weekends, so I suggest avoiding these times and go during weekdays. To start off we had the sweet & sour pork.  Quality is ok and highlight is that they serve with fresh pineapple instead of the canned ones.

Steamed pork dish - the pork is quite fatty, not to my taste, but others in the group enjoyed it with steamed rice.

"Pi pa tofu" - a traditional variation to the tofu dish, with Chinese mushrooms and coriander marinated into the tofu.

There are also other nice dishes which you need to preorder here:  fish congee - a must try!  When you arrive at the restaurant, ask the wait staff to help you reserve a dish of the white sugar cake.  It is served as a dessert on the house, so it goes very quickly!

Other Info. : Their dishes are on the salty side - so if you have a delicate palate, it would be good to ask the chef for less salt in the dishes.
