Stopped by after lunch in Jordan to try their famous black sesame soup. The shop definitely has a local feel. The inside of the restaurant was packed with people, and the servers were very busy getting ordered to everyone ASAP. We asked for a picture menu and were thankful it not only had pictures but English too! We ordered a black sesame sweet soup to try ($18).It came within seconds since they just scoop the soup from a ready made pot. Having never tried it before, we had a lot of fun drinkin

It came within seconds since they just scoop the soup from a ready made pot. Having never tried it before, we had a lot of fun drinking it. The soup was pleasantly hot (that perfect temperature to warm you up but not scald your tongue), and had strong sesame taste. It wasn't too sweet, but rather a full sweet that makes it a satisfying but not guilty dessert.
We ended up getting the black soup on our hands and teeth, so make sure to bring tissues! It was funny seeing my BF with stained black teeth haha. Give this place a try if you're at the nearby markets if you want to sample some traditional dessert!
