Today I had a lunch date at somewhere new to me. It was a Western restaurant in Sai Ying Poon. Location-wise you need to walk upslope to High Street if you come from the coast. It was a small restaurant with only 5 tables.For their set lunch, there were 6 mains to choose from, including pasta, salmon and meat. Soup or salad was included. A drink (iced tea or hot lemon tea) and a daily dessert were also included. 10 percent service charge applied.Bread with Olive OilIt was a bag of 6 bread cubes

Bread with Olive Oil
It was a bag of 6 bread cubes with herbs. Olive oil was served on the side. The bread cubes were not the soft or crispy type. We finished the bread cubes by dipping them into the hot soup.
Pumpkin Soup (included in set lunch)
The soup of the day was pumpkin soup. Portion was big. It was quite warm and reasonably thick.
Salad (included in set lunch)
Salad contained quite some crispy salad greens and cherry tomatoes with appropriate amount of olive oil added.
Linguine Boscaoila $138+10%
Linguine was reasonably al dente. The cream sauce was nice and not particularly greasy. Other ingredients included sausage pieces which were not overly salty and fresh mushroom slices.
Hunter’s Chicken Served with Potato Wedges $168+10%
It was half a spring chicken in delicious sauce. The sauce seemed to be a mix of some tomatoes and olive oil. The chicken flesh was reasonably tender, even for chicken breast. There were 9 potato wedges which were freshly deep fried and went great with the sauce.
Iced Lemon Tea and Hot Lemon Water (included in set lunch)
There were two slices of lemon for each.
Panna Cotta (included in set lunch)
The daily dessert was panna cotta. It was quite smooth and delicious with a little bit of olive oil added on top.
