西營盤高街呢一間西餐廳一直都好想試下,今日終於有時間嚟食個lunch。 鋪頭地理位置都尚算方便,西營盤地鐵站c出口 距離只有五分鐘路程。 餐廳雖然感覺唔算好大不過都乾淨 舒適。 lunch有set menu睇完之後決定要試佢嘅slow cooked beef cheek, 未食主菜前侍應好快上咗餐包, 餐包十分鬆軟, 配埋橄欖油十分好食。 食完麵包,好快就上沙律, 沙律菜十分新鮮爽甜,而且份量亦都好多。 主菜當然就係slow cooked beef cheek, 佢嘅慢煮牛肉十分軟林,配住番茄汁十分入味,好好食,除咗慢煮牛肉之外仲配咗薯仔同紅蘿蔔,基本上都夠飽。 lunch set仲配甜品 ,今次佢嘅甜品係Pannacotta, 味道有啲似牛奶布丁但係又畀牛奶布丁更加香濃同入口即融, 侍應同我講原來呢個甜品如果另外叫嘅話要120蚊,而呢個係迷你版, 感覺真係好抵食。成個餐仲配餐飲我叫咗iced tea, 成個餐冇得挑剔。

假期前夕,相約好友吃晚餐,想吃簡單又直接的意菜,網上預約,準時到達。店鋪不大,約放了5張4人桌,是傳統意大利餐廳格局。餐牌款式不多,前菜連主菜不過十款左右。所以點菜絕無難度,一心想吃這裡的手製意粉,就立馬點上兩款。先來最喜歡的Gnocchi,手製絕對花時間的一道菜,這裡的Gnocchi 不花巧,做得軟軟帶點彈性,咀嚼後感受到薯仔的質感。配上濃濃芝士醬汁,味道直來直往,喜歡芝士必點。手打蝦意粉,手製的意粉非常彈牙,咬下完全不似一般的即食意粉,彈牙度令我跟朋友都有驚喜,是味道比較清淡的一道意粉,令人不其然專注在意粉的獨有質感。吃完兩道特色意粉後,決定再點一個豬扒。豬扒仍有肉汁,但相比起意粉,豬扒就稍為遜色,還是意粉令人更有印象。

Today I had a lunch date at somewhere new to me. It was a Western restaurant in Sai Ying Poon. Location-wise you need to walk upslope to High Street if you come from the coast. It was a small restaurant with only 5 tables.For their set lunch, there were 6 mains to choose from, including pasta, salmon and meat. Soup or salad was included. It was a bag of 6 bread cubes with herbs. Olive oil was served on the side. The bread cubes were not the soft or crispy type. We finished the bread cubes by dipping them into the hot soup.

It was half a spring chicken in delicious sauce. The sauce seemed to be a mix of some tomatoes and olive oil. The chicken flesh was reasonably tender, even for chicken breast. There were 9 potato wedges which were freshly deep fried and went great with the sauce.

西營盤呢間意大利餐廳友人非常鍾意,今日做響導帶我來晚飯。店內氣氛浪漫,店舖細小,卻有一種身在意大利酒吧餐廳的感覺。Fried Olives橄欖用炸的方式,比起浄吃橄欖又多一種新搞作。外脆內軟,橄欖的香味逐漸滲出,幾特別。Spaghetti with Saffron cream sauce and Shrimps手工意粉,誠意可加。有點似粗版的公仔麵。麵條帶有彈性,蛋味濃厚,我喜歡。忌廉汁恰到好處,不會過濃,正!Veal cutlet 肉的質感軟腍,原來採用了檸檬和醋醃製過,怪不得夠入味。簡簡單單的外表,有深度的味道。Panna Cotta羅勒味道奶凍第一次食到,創新。香滑!!

這裡能夠品嚐到意大利地道口味的菜式,它的 Tagliatelle (面積較寬的長麵) ,外表有點像中式的河粉,但這麵條彈牙很多。

Here you can taste authentic Italian dishes. Tagliatelle (longer noodles with a wider area) looks like Chinese Pho, but it is more elastic.

麵條做得很出色,配的是新鮮牛肝菌及磨菇忌廉醬汁。

Taste good, with fresh porcini and mushroom cream sauce.

前菜我們選了吉樂餅,在意大利文中稱為「Crocchette」。將馬鈴薯煮軟弄成泥狀,並將各樣蔬菜配料混合後,揉成圓餅狀沾上少許麵粉後再裹上麵包糠以油炸烹調。

For the appetizer, we selected "Crocchette" in Italian. Mixed potato puree and vegetables ingredients, knead it into a round cake, dip it in a little flour, and then wrap it in breadcrumbs to cook.

另外就是簡單又美味 的 Spaghetti vongole,是一道非常受義大利人歡迎的海鮮菜色。常見使用 spaghetti ,就是我們最熟悉的義大利麵條。這道菜式很有歷史了,變化作法也存在不少。最常見的有原汁(in bianco)和用小番茄調味(con pomodorini)兩種方式。L 較喜歡原汁版本,比較肥厚的vongole 原汁特別鮮美,不品嚐原味的話就可惜了。

With a long history, and there are many changes in practice. The most common methods are the original juice (in bianco) and con pomodorini. L prefer the original version. The thicker vongole original taste is particularly delicious. It would be a pity if you don't taste the original flavor.
