To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. I'm usually reluctant to write an Indian food review when my Indian friend is not around, because I am not able to name anything, but please know that all these dishes are really really good, because it's ordered by my awesome Indian friend! Thanks for opening my eyes this past year on this amazing cuisine! I have had so many dishes I have not had before, and probably won't be able to have without your help! The first dish is a pancake... you know how hard it is to name vegetarian food? I lost the defining character and can't even bs with "oh it's lamb masala..." Anyways if you want to order what I had, go to sangeetha and pull out the photo and just order it from the photo. They know what it is. It will be the best pancake you've ever had (before I find out it's not called pancake and insert Indian name here)
