Restaurant: Sangeetha Vegetarian Restaurant

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. Big Indian Southern breakfast
So apparently for South Indian, this is their breakfast food! Sangeetha offers a wide variety of #vegetarian items. I am particularly impressed by how early they open, and the quality of the food. A lot of it you can ask for a less butter/ oily option.
My top fav has to be the #masaladosa, dipped with rice and yogurt sauce, or the same sauce with the mint twist, or that other sauce I can no longer name bcause I have a memory of a goldfish.

Idly (the white bun) looks sweet but is not,it acts as a bun to contain even more flavors of the different sauce. Soft and moist like a savory pancake, the idly is a fluffy heaven to taste. Vada also looks sweet like a dounut but in practice acts more like a savory churros. Dipped or soaked it in masala, there you have a Southern Indian breakfast. So elaborate, so good.

The old style #saucercoffee marks a perfect end to the big breakfast, but someone tells me people in India doesn't do that anymore? so an old- school exotic tradition for us foreigners to try.. 😋
