As it was after office hours, decided to dine in the area as all the office people have buggered off.
Stopped at Umimachidon because their donburis are quite unique in the sense that you are served Jelly vinegar and seafood broth with it.
I had a similar thing in TST so I knew it was worth trying because the Jelly vinegar makes it so appetizing but the restaurant in TST didn't have the soup.
As with most Japanese restaurants, there are no windows so the privacy is quite good.
Chose the one at the bottom as it had a bit of everything.
As you can see, it was loaded with scallop, shrimp, uni, salmon roe, crabmeat etc.
Beneath all that, there were clams and chopped eel with the rice.
The best thing was the vinegar jelly which made it so appetizing that I didn't need to use the wasabi.
After getting 2/3rds through, the bottle of seafood soup on the tray can be added to the rice.
I tried the soup on its own and it was fantastic as the fish taste was strong but without the unpleasant fishiness.
It was so good that I wish they could give me some more fish soup!.
Will be back if I am in the area again.
