I was in need of some protein fix late at night so decided to drop in for a steak.  Ordered the 9oz ribeye which came pretty prompty, piping hot.  First few bites were very good, juicy and tender, but my main complaint is the meat seems very thin and over-salted by a touch.  I would have preferred a thicker steak that is less spread out.  I told the owner about the thickness of the ribeye and he said I should have ordered a bigger size - though this option was not mentioned to me when I placed the order.  At $420 it is definitely not cheap and I would have expected a little more service for the price paid.   Next time I am going for the Tomahawk and see how that turns out - seems it is the signature steak but far too big for one to finish.  My simple steak dinner with half a bottle of red wine set me back $780 which is definitely on the high side in HK.
Other Info. : Promotion of half-bottle of 2006 Chateau Lapeyre St-Emilion grand cru on the table, pairs well with the steak, $290 is acceptable but not great value.
