Just ate at An Nam tonight with an unpleasant experience. Discrimination!!! Discrimination!!! Discrimination!!!Family of 3 arrived in the restaurant around 5:50pm on a Sunday evening. Family of 3 arrived in the restaurant around 5:50pm on a Sunday evening. No reservations. But was quickly seated in a jammed back corner room (closed space) with other 4 seated tables, off the main dining room.
The main dining room had about 30+ tables with only 4-6 tables occupied. At least 25+ open tables. I asked the waiter politely if I could dine in the main dining room. The waiter told me they are super busy on Sunday night and all tables are reserved.
I asked politely again. He finally moved us to the main dining room. A table next to a door and behind the cleaning station. I'm like "oh well" at least it's bigger table and open space.
Finished (foods are okay ) the dinner in 65 minutes. At least 15+ tables were never occupied. I asked the waiter politely again " What happened? All Reserved?". He simply points finger at the host/manager.
I went to the host/manger asking for an explanation. He simply gave me a look and said "SO, on Sundays we are very busy and all tables are reserved "
Will never go back again for this type of discrimination and service.
