Solera is on the waterfront close to the ferry and was a great place for a late Sunday lunch. The restaurant itself was large and spacious, well decorated with an upscale but relaxed atmosphere. Having been to Spain several times for both holiday and work, I was looking forward to authentic Spanish food, and was very satisfied with Solera.
We ordered the croquettes and calamari as starters, both were delicious. As a main course we had the seafood stew, roasted chicken and a wonderful chicken rice paella. Many people may comment that the food is not "authentic", but it was as Spanish as anything I had ever tried in Spain. Mot importantly it was all very delicious.
We will definitely return to try more of the dishes.
