We absolutely loved this restaurant. We are westerners and recent arrivals so we have not struck out yet for exotic Chinese cuisine. I tend to judge Chinese restaurants by the Hot and Sour soup it is among the best I have ever had at Crystal Jade. We loved the pork fried dumplings, the shrimp fried wanton, the egg shrimp, beef and scallions. The price is very reasonable and the service is efficient, but not overly attentive. We loved the pork fried dumplings, the shrimp fried wanton, the egg shrimp, beef and scallions. The price is very reasonable and the service is efficient, but not overly attentive. No wine by the glass, but they sell a split bottle for HKD88 that is good and very reasonable. The atmosphere is bright and a bit noisy and tables are close, but I happen to like that. This could easily be our go to joint. The total bill was HKD680, and we had plenty to bring home, so very reasonable.
