Flavors were watered down; prices steep, limited menu. Ordered satay, spicy cauliflower and banana leave wrapped steamed fish. Satay sauce was no more than seasoned peanut butter, we got two flaccid pieces of pickled cucumber, no compressed rice nor sliced red onion which typically come with satay. Sambal cauliflower had fiesty bite, the one dish I actually enjoyed.
Roti canai was form and crispy, accompanied by a bowl of dhal. Reasonable satisfying.
As a Malaysian, I am disappointed by the stark departure from real Malaysian flavors and textures. But happy hour house pour wines were wallet friendly!
