One of our relatives told us that there was a new Thai restaurant around their district and since we were running some errands there, we decided to have lunch there today. During lunch, they offered set lunch as well as ala carte menu. For their set lunch, it was priced at $62, consisting of rice or noodles and drinks.
Iced Thai coffee was slightly bitter, with strong coffee taste. Iced longan was sweet and clear, with longan juicy and chewy.
Thai style chicken satay was huge in size, grilled till chewy and juicy, with peanut sauce provided to enhance the flavour.
Thai stir fry fat noodle with pork, chilli and hot basil - The chef was generous with the portion, enough for 2 person serving. Fat noodles was fried till chewy and smooth, not too oily. It was flavourful as well, with sliced pork soft and chewy.
Thai shrimp oil fried rice - Fried rice was fried till chewy and fragrant, with huge shrimp fresh and juicy.
Tom yum kung soup - Soup was served hot, spicy and sour in taste, perfect during this cold and wet weather. Prawn and mushroom were juicy and chewy as well.
Coconut jelly was chewy and smooth, sweet in taste, having strong coconut taste.
Mango sticky rice - The serving was huge, with coconut milk pour over black and white glutinous rice. They were very chewy and sweet in taste, with sliced mango sweet and juicy.
