Went to Baby Blue Cafe & Bar for lunch with the She Who Must Be Obeyed and the little princess after Sunday service.

The Carpark is a bit horrible, very narrow, but relatively empty. The restaurant itself is rather well decorated. The place is rather big but was not full when I entered the restaurant.

My little princess ordered Shrimp and Bacon Linguini ($58), my wife ordered Japanese sea food curry (&58). I just ordered green salad ($32), expecting my little princess could not finish her meal and I needed to finish whatever she left behind.

The meals, including my green salad, come in set, which include soup, dessert, and coffee or tea.

My little princess and I ordered Clam Chowder, which tasted good. Obviously not canned soup. My wife ordered vegetable soup, which I have not tasted.

Apart from fresh, and seasoned to my taste, I have no other comments on the greed salad.

As expected, my daughter could not finish her linguini. It was tasty, which 5 or 6 big prawns on it. The linguini was al dente. The prawns were ffresh. The only thing I don't like is that it was too oily.

The curry of my wife tasted good, rather spicy to my surprise but acceptable to me. It was not quite "Japanese" to me. The sea food was a bit disappointing as they looked like frozen sea food cocktail.

The dessert was blueberry cheese mousse. It was well decorated with a few blueburry underneath the mousse and was not too sweet. It was fine for my family.

The services of the waitresses were great, very attentive.

The waiters were disappointing. Two of them were setting the table next to me after the customers had gone. They just kept talking loudly over there. They could not wait until they finished setting the table, and move away from the dinning area. One of the two took orders of drink from me after we finished our meals. It took three times for him to get my orders correct.

I ended up paying $160 including 10% service charge. I think it is value for money, especially for my green salad set.

The menu also shows a lot of different types of sea food. Maybe I should try it on the next occasion.
