I was here for a business lunch on a weekday. The lunch special menu was very simple. Their antipasti buffet cost $228+10%.  Or you could order a mains including an appetiser (one option could be the antipasti buffet while other options were soup) at different prices ranged from $258 to $368 +10%. After placing our orders, a basket of bread covered by a thick towel was served to us. There were 3 types of bread: a soft bun which had crispy crust and soft interior; a Mille-feuille like short stick which was very rich in butter and was so crispy; and a thin wafer which tasted pretty buttery and was so crispy too. Overall, I would say the quality of the bread was quite good. A small plate of butter covered by a nice thick paper with their name printed on it was served on the table.

Antipasti Buffet

The homemade soup of the day was pumpkin soup. It was my first visit and of course I went for the antipasti buffet. However, now that the buffet table was no longer available due to the pandemic, and they brought to us a plate of antipasti which was refillable. But it was really quite embarrassing to encore given the current arrangement, especially on the occasion of a business lunch. The plate of antipasti served to us was pretty nice. There were a few pieces of smoked salmon with a slice of lemon, some parma ham with melon, 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of salami, 1 slice of duck breast topped by a piece of beetroot, a cheese cube (seemed to be mozzarella) with cherry tomato on a small plate, diced dressed tomatoes on a slice of bread and some greens. The overall quality of the food was quite good but I would have preferred more veggies. I was quite impressed by their combo of duck breast with beetroot given the sweet beetroot balancing the saltiness of the duck breast quite well.

Roasted salmon, asparagus, radicchio salad, aioli sauce at $288+10%

The roasted salmon had a super crispy skin which had been salted so it was a bit too salty but good to eat with the flesh. The salmon was ok, maybe a little bit overcooked if I had to pick bones from an egg. The aioli sauce was very tasty and made the salmon taste much better. The asparagus, radicchio and especially the beetroots were both quite fresh and yummy. A pass when discounted by price but there was nothing particularly outstanding.

Hot lemon water (included in set)

A drink was included in the set. I ordered the most normal hot lemon water. I was surprised that they served me a small pot of plain hot water together with lemon slices on a separate plate so I ended up drinking 2 full cups of hot lemon water. I had to share the lemon slices with my neighbour on a single plate though.

Overall food quality was ok but I believe there was a big discount given the lack of antipasti buffet table. So just an OK rating taking this into account and given the price. If the antipasti buffet table is back, maybe just the antipasti buffet is sufficient for my stomach.
