well, for a sunday night, it was suprisingly quiet. how does this place make busienss? the own a whole alley way and different rooms are convereted to different type of venues.. bar like... sushi bar like... it was interesting. outside the alley was decorated in such a fancy way it actually kind of felt like japan a bit. now on the food..i guess its decently priced, but nothing to really shout about. the food was good, but not so good that i'd crave to go back again. amongst the things ordered,
i guess its decently priced, but nothing to really shout about. the food was good, but not so good that i'd crave to go back again. amongst the things ordered, salmon sashimi, steamed and iced whelks, grilled beef tongue, salmon fish head, a GIANT bowl of ramen (thwat was only 40% full), cold udon, and well.. a whole bunch of other stuff.
none of it really stood out as amazingly good.. actually we did order pumpkin tempura.. which was the best of the night. pipin hot, and the pumpkin was very nice and soft. other than that, everything was slightly above average. you can actually get a tatami room, which is nice since i hear u can't get anything like that in hong kong nowadays. you have to order 1500 minimum though.
well its an interesting place to go for sure, id' go here for the sheer fun of it, but for food, id probably eat somewhere else.
