It pains me to find Brass Spoon is slipping as this is where the pork chop rice rescued many a lunch through three years of Covid isolation and the delicious pho on the weekend was something I look forward to.   The lemongrass pork chop used to be full of flavour, expertly marinated and grilled to perfection, with a fried egg on top to satisfy a hungry stomach, all sit on top of steamed rice and finely sliced tomato and cucumber salad accompanied by pickled carrots juliennes.  Not this last time - the pork chop was bland, tough in texture, pale white (i.e. not marinated as before), the egg was over-cooked and with no seasoning, no runny yolk either.  Such a disappointment - how could they let standard slip this low?   it's a sad discovery and I am afraid I won't be back for a long, long time.
Other Info. : takeaway pork chop rice used to be $72.
