We were looking for desserts after lunch and randomly walked into this tiny shop. It serves japanese-styled drsserts, mostly in matcha flavour. Each customer must order one dessert and order is placed through QR code, very convenient. I ordered matcha lava cake with ice cream and warabi mochi.

After a 15 minutes wait, it came to table. A scoop of matcha ice cream was placed on top of the hot lava cake. It had a silky smooth texture with mild matcha flavour. The shell of lava cake was a bit hard. I felt so disppointed when I cut it open, there wasn't lava flow effect at all. Filling was soft and molten with strong matcha flavour, not overly sweet but at some point it made my mouth feel powerdery🍵 Warabi mochi had the jiggling effect and covered in matcha powder. Taste was just average, not outstanding and had nothing special. White mochi was served with red bean paste and roasted soybean powder. Sad that it was completely tasteless and texture was overly soft, not chewy at all😕

For me, visiting once is enough. But if you are a matcha lover, might come and give it a try as it serves various types of matcha desserts!
