This newly opened restaurant is using wood and forest as the main theme, makes you feel like you are in the nature. The set for two comes with a lot of choices from appetizers, main, a choice of noodle / rice / vegetables, dessert platter and drinks. The appetizer platter consists of deep-fried shrimp cake, char-grilled chicken and beef with pomelo salad. The chicken is super delicious, tender and juicy, but the beef is a little overcooked. The appetizer platter consists of deep-fried shrimp cake, char-grilled chicken and beef with pomelo salad. The chicken is super delicious, tender and juicy, but the beef is a little overcooked.
I came here for the braised beef brisket in massaman curry with roti, yet the server said this has been sold out, a bit disappointed that we couldn't try, and they offer to change to red curry with beef, which is surprisingly good, especially by adding the lychee that makes the dish more refreshing. The roti can be improved though, it's currently a little thick.
As for the Prawn Phad Thai, it's a delectable dish, having said that, the fish sauce aside actually can either be replaced with other garnish or taken out, as the saltiness is good enough.
The dessert platter comes with fresh mango, black & white sticky rice, pandan layer cake and Thai rose jelly. The mango is the star, it's a little sour but tastes extremely fresh.
