The star of the show was the lively South African abalone, caught right before our eyes, adding a fresh and dynamic element to the experience.
Starting with a palate-refreshing salad, we moved on to the impressive South African live abalone. Its generous size, delightful chewiness, and sweet flavor made it a standout dish.
The black codfish, featuring silver cod, showcased expert cooking techniques, resulting in a crispy and golden outer layer. The firm and flavorful fish meat, coupled with crispy zucchini, created a delightful blend of textures and complex flavors.
Sake-steamed clams offered plump and sweet clam meat without any sandy texture, complemented by a sweet and fragrant clam soup.
The beef teppanyaki was a highlight, with richly flavored and perfectly seared meat emitting a delightful aroma. Its pronounced oiliness added to the overall flavor.
Towards the end, a spread of fried rice, stir-fried vegetables, pickles, and miso soup delighted our taste buds. The egg fried rice with sakura shrimp stood out as a delightful combination.
For dessert, we indulged in a homemade caramel tofu pudding with caramelized toast. The rich, creamy tofu pudding paired perfectly with the crispy caramelized toast, showcasing the chef's dedication to crafting on-site delicacies that added a special touch to our dining experience.
