There are two types of bak kut teh soup base, clear and cloudy. The restaurant serves dark cloudy soup which was sweet and savoury with a great flavour of mixed Chinese medicine, which I really like because I think bak kut teh is a kind of nutritious meditating soup, at least for me. The spare ribs were pretty tender after being cooked for long hour, I wish they would have sticky chili dark soya sauce for me to go with the spare ribs though!

The chicken pieces was our favouite because it was moist, tender, and not too oily. It went perfectly well with their nutty sweet satay sauce.

The set also includes two drinks, and you may enjoy their speciality drinks or yakult drink for an extra $10.

Mango Yakult ($26)

It was sweet and sour with a texture lighter than any milkshake. The yakult was subtle yet noticeable when blended with mango.

Hot Malaysian coffee ($22)

One of the signature drinks from the restaurant because Teh Tarik and Kopi Tarik were freshly "pulled" upon order. I have tried their iced coffee before and I found their hot drinks are less sweetened and tasted a bit better, or is it just me that I like hot drinks better?

A wow factor from this local restaurant! What a surprise to find this dessert on the menu! The dosa like was covered with a thin layer of shredded coconut, peanuts, condensed milk, and sugar! The inner side was filled with that sticky sweet spread, while the other side was dry and crispy!
We were recommend to start from the top otherwise the tower would collapse! It was such a great fun to break it apart and share among a group of friends. I would recommend to share this big dessert with at least 3 people since it was quite big.

We have also ordered banana roti to cure our sweet tooth, it was very nicely too with a thin layer of mashed banana and condensed milk filling. Again, it was a great dessert for sharing. The stick and chewy texture was just perfect to pair with a cup of hot tea of coffee!

Tom Yum Tom Yum never failed to give me a finger licking meal with scrumptious savoury and sweet dishes. I always come here and I am going to come back again!
