All of a sudden it's crazy rain today and probably best to get takeaways rather than eating out. This place is easily accessible from the tai koo MTR station and all undercover, inside the eslite bookstore, so we decided to give it a go since it looked busy! It's a Taiwanese restaurant with some seatings around but not too many. It's a Taiwanese restaurant with some seatings around but not too many. Main selections are rice and noodles and not to forget bubble teas! We ordered the fried chicken rice, pork chop with lo mein and a side tofu. The 2 main dish comes with drinks and so we ordered a milk tea with grass jelly and black sugar milk tea with bubbles.
They all taste yummy especially the fried chicken as they are not overcooked and do not cover with a thick layer of batter. The rice is like a bento with some veggies, sweetcorn, egg and glass noodles - very impressed! Just remember to eat the noodles asap while it is still hot as it turns hard fairly quickly.
Would go back again next time as I already have my eyes on the fried cuttlefish balls. Reasonably price with a good portion. One comment is that it would be better if the drinks can taste less sweet!
